The Development Process
  1. Detailed drawing received from medical device manufacturer
  2. Moulds designed to produce the product
  3. SLA protoype master created from CAD data
  4. Prototype castings arranged from SLA master
  5. Prototype products produced for initial customer testing and approval
  6. Clinical trials were held

Progression to Production to Levels

  1. Detailed product specification was agreed
  2. Manufacturing process was designed and documented in detail
  3. Batch records were designed, in consultation with the customer, to keep detailed records of each stage of the process
  4. Batch Release reports were designed to include agreed criteria for final inspection
  5. Production moulds purchased
  6. Early phase production commenced
  7. Progression to production levels of 20,000 units per week
  8. Product subject to in-process and final inspection
  9. Product packaged and dispatched with Certificate of Conformity

Customer Service / Communication
  • Partnership approach throughout development of product
  • Regular meetings and communication during weekly production
