From Design to Manufacture

Rubber dipped products are likely to be suitable for many types of flexible barriers, seals or protective covers.

These products are used in by various industries including Automotive, Aerospace, Marine, Electronic, Safety, Mechanical Engineering and Medical.

Examples of products made by the dipping process are rubber gloves (household and industrial), condoms, surgical gloves and various tubes, bellows, gaiters and seals.

The size of the products can range from 1 cm to 1 metre in diameter. The wall thickness of the material can range from 0.1 mm to 6 mm. Manufacturing is carried out to high degree of precision. Various colours are available.

The advantages of the dipping process are a flash free, seamless product, low tooling costs, quick turnaround and excellent reproduction of patterned surfaces where required. Dipped products have a soft feel to them, making them excellent for sealing purposes, such as electrical connectors and dry suit seals. The dipping process is flexible and cost effective.
